Services Overview:Services include developing and managing R shiny tools for Oncology and other TAs and supporting the platforms we delivered for Translational Scientists in Janssen
Services require essential coding skills and Biology domain knowledge to be familiar with the platform delivered to TA users. Good communication skills.
Working with Oncology Translational Research and the JRD Data Science organization, JRD therapeutic areas and functions, and vendor teams to facilitate the platform and product delivery.

• Strong knowledge of R, including experience working with tidyverse syntax (dplyr, tidyr, ggplot2, tibble, purr, readr, stringr) and R6 classes.
• Proficient with R Shiny coding (R Shiny reactivity, R Shiny modules)
• Web development experience (CSS and Javascript (shinyjs)) a big plus
• Life sciences working experience: any past project experience handling biomedical biomarker data (e.g. next generation sequencing, single cell sequencing, single cell proteomics, ... ) is strongly desired.
• Additional required working experience: version control (gitea), able to set up and work in a linux environment (bash, ...)
  Deliverables:
  • Develop and maintain the visualization tools to support strategic decisions for clinical research
  • Engagement with business partners globally across Pharma R&D domain, to understand their support and data platform needs
  • User acceptance scripting, testing and troubleshooting
  • Management of Jira projects, scrum master task for on going projects
  • Coordinating change management
  • Documentation on platform and system design
  • API management
  • Source code management
  • Ability to build data queries in SQL
  • Ability to use R or other coding tools
