Responsibilities
Position Description: -The Assistant Coordinator will assist with planning programs and projects of the Golden Gems (Senior) Program. ACSC will help to develop and maintain effective relationships with various public and private institutions and agencies to assess program requirements, modifications, or innovations.
Qualifications
Requirements: -High school diploma or GED equivalent. Experience in geriatrics, gerontology, or closely related field is preferred. Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in English. Must possess good interpersonal relationship skills; must be a team player. Must be able to move about the RJKCCC freely.
Must possess a valid driver license. As a Mandated Reporter, must provide proof of having completed training on recognizing and reporting child abuse meeting the training standards of PA Act 153 of 2014 within 30 days of employment with recurrent training required every three years thereafter. Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153 to include PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check. Must possess an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
