Come and experience your future!Radar Systems Engineering within the Mission Systems Engineering Center of Excellence (COE) is seeking a candidate to support the RF design and development of high performance radar systems. The successful candidate will have strong analytic and communication skills and work well in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.The RF Radar Systems Engineer will:

  • Perform requirements analysis and architecture definition for digital solid-state radars.
  • Apply advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts to develop revolutionary system solutions.
  • Perform functional analysis, design trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
  • Develop system models and system performance simulations to support system design trade studies and system specifications.
  • Develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance.Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent combined with 2+ years of related experience.
    • Demonstrated potential to work in a team environment in one or more of the following areas: analysis, architecture, requirements development, design, modeling and simulation, or integration and test.
    • Knowledge of antenna theory and RF component and systems.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance.Desired Skills:
      • Experience in RF performance analysis relative to radar parameters including clutter attenuation, range side lobes, electromagnetic interference (EMI) etc.
      • Knowledge of digital receivers and/or waveform generators and/or high power RF amplifiers
      • Experience testing RF receivers, exciters and high power amplifiers within a Radar System
