We deliver both commercial off the shelf product capability, and enterprise level solutions.--For this latter category we require significant project planning expertise, and this opportunity is targeted at individuals who have a demonstrable track in developing, maintaining and evolving complex and interdependent project plans. Our project planners undertake an influential role in our delivery teams, engaging pro-actively with project stakeholders, including customers, project leaders, project team members, and suppliers Role accountabilities: --

  • Apply a systematic approach to project plan configuration, supporting project team members to apply a consistent approach to task scaling, scheduling and pricing.
  • Support business winning activities for major opportunities, by helping sales and delivery teams plan and scale an engagement.
  • Progress Reporting - Develop and create clear metrics which detail progress on a project to enable the project manager and wider team to have insight into execution issues and how to resolve them.
  • Support the development and maintenance of project resourcing plans, highlighting resource capacity constraints, contingency plans and availability risks.
  • Work closely with the project manager and scrum master(s) to ensure accurate and timely alignment of project plans with our agile delivery system (Atlassian Suite).
  • Advise on and maintain the schedule of deliverables, milestones, and invoicing events.
  • Support the management of change and the impacts of scope creep.
  • Support the analysis of project risks and issues, and their associated mitigation options.
  • Experience working in physical asset intensive industries, including rail, utilities or highways
  • Experience of project planning tools and approaches -- -- Qualifications & Experience: Require d Qualifications:
    • Minimum 6--years of related experience
    • A strong planning background and understanding of the delivery of enterprise technology solutions Preferred Qualifications:
      • Degree in related field
      • Experience in systems implementation
      • Knowledge of, or interest Applied Analytics, Asset Management, the built environment, and technology
