SUMMARY To operate the wastewater treatment plant to meet the
requirements to produce effluent discharge, reconditioned water,
and process solids of acceptable quality as per appropriate
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned. This position requires one who is
multi-task oriented and a team player. Is responsible for the daily
operation of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) while
maintaining and always looking for future improvements. May work
alone on a shift.
1.) Operator must understand the complete flow process.
2.) Must be able to monitor analytical equipment, diagnose, and
make chemical changes, as needed.
3.) Should have a basic knowledge of chemistry and biology with
the ability to do minimal analytical lab work.
4.) Should be able to maintain and/or repair individual problems
