KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, UI/UX Visualization Designer to join our KPMG Lighthouse - Center of Excellence for Advanced Analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead up-front user research activities including business analysis, task analysis and user interviews to inform the development of new products
  • Review and provide feedback on design documentation and artifacts created by your team in support of technical development, including UI and data visualisation guidelines and corresponding graphical assets, functional specification documentation
  • Lead iterative user feedback programs to drive incremental improvements in existing products
  • Maintain clear priorities and work efficiently within a fluid, fast-paced product development ecosystem
  • Lead teams conducting Human Centered Design (HCD) user research including but not limited to: user interviews, surveys, usability testing, VoC and VoE interviews, etc. for data metric sourcing and interpretation, competitor analysis, and provision of qualitative / quantitative reports
  • Determine and design information architecture and sitemaps, data hierarchy, content development to support the development of design ideas
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across client organizations and KPMG peers to develop business requirements to support the development of design ideas
  • Use business requirements, user research and feedback to develop scenarios, use cases, prioritise features, high-level requirements and task flows across products and services
  • Review and provide feedback on work products developed by your team, including elegant high-fidelity user personas, journey maps, UX/US design mock ups and wireframes, VX designs, and storyboards
  • Develop rapid prototypes along with developers and engineers to demo to internal KPMG project teams, client agencies, and organizations
  • Work with highly collaborative teams in an agile, iterative design environment to determine best practices, processes, and standards for delivery of all products and services

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of UX/UI Design experience
  • Experience leading teams conducting UX Design processes in collaboration with Product Management and Development counterparts
  • Comfort leading teams operating with Agile and Lean UX methodologies, interaction design (IxD), user experience design (UX), visual experience design (VX), branding, content strategy, usability testing, HCD user and design research, interaction models and responsive layout
  • Direct experience with data visualisation design, or working with data visualisation professionals/data scientists a plus, especially for the visualisation of graphs/network diagrams.
  • Demonstrated expertise with industry-standard and prototyping software including but not limited to: Sketch, Figma, InVision, Abstract, Adobe CC including XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Experience with legacy application transformation and modernization with a deep understanding and identification of users' needs for functional designs
  • Ability to prototype with HTML 5 and CSS for functional prototypes, and work with developers and engineering to create deployable solutions / products
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship of a VISA now or in the future

Colorado Salary Statement:

The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Colorado if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.

Colorado Salary Range: Low: $77400 - High: $159500
