Chief Product Expert - Workflow Management

The Role

We are looking for you, a motivated and talented product manager and solution engineer who wants to embark on an exciting journey with us to deliver innovative, high quality business process technology.

Product Management at SAP is more than just talking to customers - it's a team effort: starting with constant customer and stakeholder interactions, understanding business problems and market needs and translating them into requirements towards product definition and design. Building exciting proof-of-concepts, solution demos based on real world business scenarios, presenting at conferences, like SAPPHIRE, ASUG, TechEd, and enabling partners and SAP colleagues to leverage our services to maximize customer success is a key part of the role as well. We are looking for a team player as a chief product expert for workflow technology and strategy with a focus on market competitiveness in the workflow, Low Code / No Code and automation domain.

Role Requirements

  • Define the competitive edge with market analysis and insights
  • Drive product strategy regarding feature priorities on core workflow topics as well as differentiators as, e.g., Intelligent Workflows with AI/ML.
  • Evangelize, educate, and engage the field, development, and others within SAP and also with customers and the SAP development community.
  • Define and build compelling proof-of-concepts and incubation demos based on customer use cases with digital workflows, business rules and process visibility, integrating the scenarios with SAP Intelligent RPA and LCNC tools for end-to-end business process automation.
  • Engage with Go-To-Market teams (GTM) and other Product Management teams at SAP in GTM activities, demand generation and pipeline reporting with deep customer interaction.
  • Influence our development teams and product owners with a balance between vision, belief and pragmatism.

Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/Engineering or Business Administration
  • 10+ years of experience in Product Development, Product Management
  • Experience with digital process transformation, digital workflows, AI/ML, digital automation projects and technology is a plus
