Most importantly, promises are kept. Hourly Compensation as a Tree Climber: You can make $25 to $35 per hour as a Tree Climber at Giroud. In addition, you could earn up to $8 per hour more in bonuses. That brings your total potential earnings to $43.75 per hour! Here's what Giroud Tree Climbers earned over their hourly rates: Crew Members earned an additional .75 more per hour in safety bonuses. Crew Leaders earned an additional $8 more per hour in production bonuses. Put it all together, you could earn up to $25.75 per hour as a Tree Climber or up to $43.75 per hour as a Crew Leader. In addition, you have plenty of room for advancement. With every advanced skill you make more money such as: Crew Leader: $1.50/hour plus performance bonuses CDL Class A: $2.50/hour Spray Applicators License - $1.00/hour plus performance bonuses Qualifications for Tree Climber: Minimum of 2 years tree climbing experience following industry safety and quality standards. Pass our climbing test using a rope and saddle to get into the tree and limb walk out to make your pruning cuts. Demonstrate your roping and rigging knowledge, pruning techniques, and tree removal skills. Have a Valid Driver's License (CDL a plus) Be drug free Benefits for Tree Climbers: Highest wages in our industry, plus you can earn even more through our bonus programs. 2 weeks Paid Time off within the 1st year of employment and 7 paid holidays per year.
