Job ID #: 18907 Location: PA-FAIRLESS HILLS Functional Area: Misc./Trades Position Type: Full Time Experience Required: 1 - 3 Years Relocation Provided: No Education Required: GED RC/Department: 6627 -MIDATL FAIRLESS HILLS TERMINAL :NOV Position Description Responsible for the safe, efficient and quality conscious operation of cranes, locomotives, front end loaders, excavators and lift trucks, and to comply with all training provided to enable employee to perform operations required in accordance with Kinder Morgan work instructions and government regulations (EPA, FRA and OSHA). Position Requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Safely and efficiently operate cranes related gear to transfer materials Maintain and repair cranes as trained and instructed Assist in the troubleshooting and repair of equipment Assist as required in the transfer and storage of materails through the use of conveyors, rolling equipment and related equipment Participate in operational, safety and environmental training as assigned. Perform other duties as trained and instructed MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent EXPERIENCE / SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE: Previous experience operating Crane / Heavy Equipment / Locomotive desired CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) COMPTENCIES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must be able to understand and comply with all requirements for any emergency Must be able to understand and comply with oral and written instructions, in English Must be able to take direction / supervision and work cooperatively with other people PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to routinely climb ladders / stairs and work at heights of up to 80' Must be able to lift / carry up to 50# Must be able to sweep, shovel, use hand tools Must be able to wear Kinder Morgan supplied Personal Protective Equipment, when applicable While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
