Job Description:
ProStaff Solutions is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator
for our client in Ridgefield, NJ 07657 to perform a variety of
warehouse functions. Duties will include moving products safely and
efficiently between manufacturing, storage, and production areas,
performing daily inventory audits, and assisting with other general
warehouse tasks. The ideal candidate will be reliable,
safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player.
Contract to Hire Pay Rate: $20.42/hr 1st shift: 7am-3:30pm Must be
available to work 2 nd shift as needed Forklift Operator
Responsibilities: Perform daily safety checks on forklifts to
ensure equipment is in good working order. Operate forklifts
safely, following all company and OSHA safety standards. Move goods
from manufacturing areas to storage or production areas. Properly
label, scan, and track inventory using handheld scanners. Read and
comprehend production reports to stage inventory for production
areas. Read and comprehend inventory reports to audit storage
locations. Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed.
Requirements: 2 years’ experience operating forklifts in a
warehouse environment. Experience with handheld scanners and basic
inventory management. Strong understanding of safety regulations
for powered industrial trucks (PIT). Attention to detail and
commitment to safe work practices. Strong teamwork and
communication skills. Physical stamina and strength for lifting,
moving, and operating machinery. High school diploma or equivalent
