Job Description:
Our client, a nationwide healthy snack manufacturer and
distributor, has an immediate need for an experienced Production
Supervisor, to join our winning team in Lebanon. Our candidate of
choice will oversees our client’s production operations, ensuring
that materials and supplies are in a positive flow and ensure that
machines are functional and the production facilities adhere to
safety standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Understand and be able to
operate all equipment and troubleshooting Ability to understand the
production schedule and ensure the schedule is followed Responsible
for ensuring the inventory management system is being utilized
correctly and accurately Ensuring effective employee relations;
providing employee coaching and development; resolving employee
issues through problem resolution Balancing quality, productivity,
cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas;
working to continuously improve in all areas Managing departmental
performance measures, including visual controls, and providing
regular progress reports Monitor systematic key performance
indicators (KPI s) and help with continuous improvement on said
findings Record daily numbers and send updated report throughout
the day and end of shift Responsible for implementing all company
policies including GMP, PPE, Food Safety, Safety and Sanitation
Responsible for ensuring all employees are adhering to food safety
guidelines Maintain facility and employees to always be audit ready
Tracking absenteeism Discipline and coach according to company
policies and document Training all employees that report to them
Work with or appoint an employee to help change overs and
mechanical projections on the line alongside of maintenance KEY
REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED equivalent required Three
years working in a manufacturing environment required Two years in
a management type role required Experience in machine operations in
a manufacturing environment required Strong interpersonal and
communication skills with strong team-building skills Previous
experience in a beverage manufacturing facility preferred Ability
to understand and use our computer applications and data collection
and recording (Excel,SAP, Email, etc.) A demonstrated ability to
lead people and get results through others Ability to think ahead
and plan over a 30-day time span and prepare action plans to
achieve results Quality orientation and attention to detail An
