Job Description:

Interstate Waste Services, a leader in non-hazardous waste collection in the Northeastern U.S., is seeking a dedicated Roll Off Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating roll off trucks, managing waste disposal, recycling services, and ensuring the safe delivery and pickup of containers to and from customer locations. This position requires strict adherence to safety procedures and provides an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment committed to high standards of service and sustainability. Operate roll off trucks within a designated route for waste and recycling collection Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure the proper handling and disposal of waste as per company and regulatory guidelines Maintain punctuality and efficiency in scheduled routes and customer appointments Collaborate with dispatch and customer service teams to improve service quality Adhere to company-operated safety routines and state regulations Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts Proficiency in operating roll off trucks and understanding of mechanical systems Strong time management and customer service skills Ability to adhere to safety guidelines and company standards Effective communication and documentation skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record DOT Medical Card
