Job Description:

Interstate Waste Services, a leader in non-hazardous waste collection and disposal, seeks a dedicated Overnight Operations Manager to lead our facility operations during nighttime hours. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all waste management processes are executed efficiently and safely, complying with all regulatory guidelines and supporting our mission of sustainability and superior service in the U.S. Northeast region. Oversee the nightly operations of waste collection, transfer, and processing. Manage staff schedules, training, and performance to ensure efficient operations. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding waste management. Collaborate with safety officers to implement and monitor health and safety protocols for nighttime operations. Prepare and review operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Address any operational challenges that arise during the shift and provide immediate solutions. Maintain clear and effective communication with daytime management to ensure continuity. Manage inventory and supply chain requirements to ensure operational readiness. Strong leadership and people management skills Proficient in operational logistics and resource management Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities Ability to work independently and handle high-stress situations Knowledge of regulatory compliance pertaining to waste management Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Waste Manager (CWM) preferred OSHA Safety Certification
