Job Description Job Description Hybrid Corporate / M&A Attorney (Counsel or Junior Partner Level) – New York, NY Location: New York (hybrid) Our client, a well-established, full-service law firm, is seeking an experienced Corporate / M&A Attorney at the Counsel or Junior Partner level to join its New York office. This role is ideal for a senior corporate attorney who can independently manage sophisticated matters while contributing to the continued growth of the firm’s corporate practice. The position focuses on outside general counsel–style advisory work, mergers and acquisitions, and general business transactions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable serving as a primary client contact and managing matters from initial consultation through closing. What We’re Looking For: Experience: Approximately 7–12 years of corporate transactional experience, including M&A and outside general counsel–style advisory work. Expertise: Ability to independently handle a broad range of corporate matters, including drafting and negotiating agreements, advising on corporate governance, and managing transactions from inception through completion. Client Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships, serve as a trusted advisor, and handle matters autonomously. Collaboration: Comfortable coordinating with other practice groups as needed to support client objectives. Licensure: Admission to the New York Bar is required.
