Job Description:
Join us as an AVP- Legal Inventory Management, where you will
support the implementation of the U.S. LRR governance and control
framework. You will help maintain and enhance the U.S. LRR
inventory while assisting lawyers in interpreting and managing
regulatory obligations. In this role, you will collaborate with
cross-functional teams to strengthen controls, monitor procedures,
and drive process improvements. You will contribute to training,
data governance, and remediation activities that ensure accurate
and effective LRR risk management. This position provides the
opportunity to support regulatory change, improve legal controls,
and enhance oversight across the U.S. Legal function. To be
successful as a AVP- Legal Inventory Management, you should:
Understanding of U.S. legal and regulatory requirements Ability to
analyze, interpret, and validate large volumes of legal and
regulatory data Excellent communication and stakeholder-management
skills Experience improving legal or risk processes and control
frameworks Some other highly valued skills may include: Ability to
manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality work Problem-solving
and decision-making skills Ability to build effective
cross-functional relationships Proficiency with Excel, SharePoint,
and Microsoft Office This role is located in Whippany, NJ. Minimum
Salary: $110,000 Maximum Salary: $180,000 The minimum and maximum
salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base
hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or
benefits that may be available. Barclays employees are eligible for

eligible for an incentive award. Purpose of the role To ensure that
the financial services regulation activities are conducted in
compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and to help the
bank manage legal and regulatory risks associated with these
activities. Accountabilities Development and implementation of best
practice legal strategies for risk management and compliance. Legal
advice and support to the business on regulatory affairs, including
regulatory compliance, risk management, and transactional matters.
Subject matter support in the Legal department’s representation of
the bank in legal proceedings related to regulatory matters, such
as litigation, arbitration, and regulatory investigations. Review
of relevant legislation and regulation and creation and review of
legal documents, where applicable, to ensure compliance with
applicable laws and regulations. Legal research and analysis to
stay up to date on changes in laws and regulations that may impact
the banks operations. Developing and delivering training programmes
to educate employees on applicable legal and regulatory
requirements related to the banks operations. Pro-active
identification, communication, and provision of legal advice on
applicable laws, rules and regulations (LRRs). Keeping up to date
with regards to changes to LRRs in the relevant coverage area.
Ensuring that LRRs are effectively allocated to, and adequately
reflected within, the relevant policies, standards and controls.

external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas,
teams, companies, etc).to solve problems creatively and
effectively. Communicate complex information. Complex information
could include sensitive information or information that is
difficult to communicate because of its content or its audience.
