We are expanding our Insurance Defense team and are seeking a skilled attorney with a passion for advocacy and practical problem-solving. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in motor vehicle accidents. Offer: Salary: $150,000 to $200,000 -Collegial and supportive work environment -Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package -Opportunities for career growth and professional development -Located in a modern, accessible office in Midtown Manhattan Key Responsibilities: -Manage a caseload from inception through trial or settlement -Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions -Conduct depositions and court appearances -Evaluate case strategy and communicate effectively with clients and carriers -Attend mediations and negotiate settlements Qualifications: -J.D. from an accredited law school -Admitted and in good standing with the New York State Bar -4years of insurance defense or relevant litigation experience -Strong writing, analytical, and courtroom skills -Ability to handle multiple files in a fast-paced environment -Experience working with insurance carriers and understanding billing guidelines is a plus - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
