Job Description Job Description Paralegal Company Overview We are a full-service boutique law practice that focuses on stream-lined, client-focused solutions for businesses and individuals across corporate law, commercial litigation, real estate, and intellectual property. Position Overview The Paralegal will support legal professionals by conducting research, preparing legal documents, and assisting with case management in various areas of law, including civil, business, real estate, and intellectual property litigation. This role is crucial in ensuring that cases run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities - Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law and statutes. - Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and contracts. - Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness lists. - Manage case files and maintain documentation in an organized and efficient manner. - Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and keep them informed of case progress. - Assist in the preparation of discovery documents and responses. - Review and summarize legal documents, including contracts and agreements. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field. - Completion of a paralegal certification program is preferred. - Experience in civil litigation, complex litigation, and business litigation. - Knowledge of real estate transactions and corporate litigation. - Familiarity with intellectual property law is a plus. - Strong research, writing, and communication skills. - Proficiency in legal research databases and case management software.
