If you are searching for a company where urgency, agility, and commitment to science win the day - we welcome you!Position Summary:As the lead contracts reviewer for all contracts, the Contracts Attorney will review company legal agreements, amendments and work orders including master service agreements for CMOs, CROs and testing laboratories, license agreements, material transfer agreements, commercial agreements, consulting agreements, confidentiality agreements, etc. and will interface with internal business area management and contract party counsel to reach agreement on legal terms. This role reports to the Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and Counsel.This is a salaried part-time role (16-20 hours/week).Responsibilities: Will include but are not limited to:--- Review legal terms of all agreements independently, and in coordination with VP and outside counsel as appropriate, to ensure compliance with law and company policies, and optimal conditions for company--- Advise business area leads on preferred legal terms and internal contract procedures--- Negotiate legal terms with contract parties--- Liaise with the finance department on financial matters as they pertain to contracts and statements of work--- Participate in regular project and team meetings to gain knowledge about the company and projects relevant for reviewing legal terms of company contracts--- Monitor and advise business area leads of contractual rights and obligations as they pertain to their specific agreements--- Track legal agreement provisions and expiries as needed--- Oversee development of template agreements as neededPI128363593
