As the Director of Product Management, you will lead a team of product managers and report directly to the VP of Product. This is a critical role with high visibility across the organization, and you will be responsible for creating, driving, and realizing our vision of whats possible at the intersection of AI and the edge. As a Director of Product Management, you will be responsible for: • Defining the product vision and shaping the business strategy to drive growth for the organization. • Executing the comprehensive product roadmap from inception to scale. • Serving as a leader for Akamais AI products, both internally and within the broader AI/ML developer community. • Leading a cross-functional team to deliver innovative AI infrastructure and platform services. • Driving the product strategy for core AI platform components. • Gathering and translating customer feedback into actionable insights and features. Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: • Have 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree or its equivalent. • Possess a deep passion and hands-on experience with AI/ML platforms and related distributed systems. • Demonstrate proven experience in product management, go-to-market strategy, and product development for complex technical platforms. • Be a leader with a proven ability to influence, motivate others, and build high-performing product teams. • Be a collaborative partner with teams to deliver a technical product that customers love. • Demonstrate expertise in AI/ML model deployment, distributed systems, and modern pipelines including PyTorch, TensorFlow, VectorDBs.
