Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining Akamais object storage platform for Linode. Our enterprise grade solution is an essential element to Akamais Connected Cloud platform. We provide a scalable and secure storage solution for Linodes customers to build their businesses. As part of our team, you will focus on building highly reliable, scalable and cost-effective storage solutions. Our platform empowers enterprises to create modern solutions to the worlds problems. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for: • Getting in early on an exceptionally rare and impactful project • Working with a small team to solve complex issues • Designing systems that scale • Working to define the next generation of cloud tooling • Defining best-practices for our CI/CD/CT processes and pipelines Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: • Have 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field • Have broad knowledge and deep experience with Kubernetes and Containerization • Be proficient with tools such as kubectl, docker, ansible, terraform, crossplane • Have solid experience with Golang • Demonstrate experience with GitHub actions, Gitlab runners or Gitea actions • Have experience with observability tools such as Grafana, Influx, ELK • Have worked previously and is skilled in working with cloud infrastructure FlexBase, Akamais Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
