About the Role

• Support systems and manage equipment/software by performing required configuration, installation, and maintenance tasks for large and complex infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot operating systems, applications, hardware, storage, and backup incidents on multi-tiered infrastructures.
• Create and maintain relevant technical documentation and devise operating procedures or technical instructions for IT systems.
• Prepare Request For Change and Operations plan for major changes on customer infrastructure.
• Implement proactive checks on customer infrastructure and monitor capacity or issues.
• Initiate problem cases with Level 3 support or vendors.
• Provide regular reports to management on clients' infrastructure.About You
  • Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware.
  • VMware (VCAP5/6-DCA), Solaris, Linux certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining server hardware, operating systems, storage, backup hardware, and associated network equipment.
  • Strong understanding of server virtualization infrastructure concepts and tools.
  • Troubleshooting skills on physical and virtualized equipment.
