V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Core Java Dev IV for our premier client in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Education and Experience 5+ years of experience overall Core Java (at least v.8 or higher) - THIS IS THE #1 KEY SKILL AND MUST BE VERY STRONG Restful API's/Web Services - #2 Experience using Java to connect with DB's using JDBC. - #3 CICD required. Node.JS - Node would be a very strong Plus. Angular is a plus. AWS (serverless or Lambdas) is a plus. Postgres SQL is nice to have. Entire SDLC experience. Communication skills must be strong for this role. Spring Boot a plus. Kubernetes a plus. Microservices a plus. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Top three Must Have skill sets (technical): Core Java (version 8 or higher). RESTful web services. SQL/JDBC. Top three Preferred skill sets (technical): Spring/Spring Boot. Docker. Microservices. AWS. Kubernetes. Git. Java Threading. Experience with Agile SDLC. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Job Responsibilities: Work with team members on a "proactive network maintenance" application that detects and analyzes problems in a service-delivery network reaching 30 million customers nationally. Implement additions and enhancements to a RESTful microservice tier deployed in AWS. Use numerous cutting-edge technologies including: AWS: ECR, Kinesis, SNS, SQS and CloudWatch. Postgres and Timescale DB. Kubernetes. Terraform. AngularJS. iOS Swift. Docker. Java 17. Interested?
