Job Description:The Microsoft Security Training Lead is
responsible for designing, developing, and delivering security
programs and initiatives on the Microsoft Security stack within
Vitalyst's Client Learning Solutions team to achieve our business
goals. The Microsoft Security Training Lead plays a key role in
creating and delivering instructor-led training (ILT) solutions,
self-help resources, and self-guided learning content in accordance
with all internal and client objectives, training plans, and
contractual obligations. The Microsoft Security Training Lead must
ensure all activity meets and/or exceeds the client need to
perpetuate a positive customer experience with minimal oversight by
demonstrating:

- Analyzing market conditions/needs and creating solutions
- Organization and efficiency for effectiveness

- Excellent written and verbal communication.The Security
Training Lead reports directly to the Senior Director, Learning
Experience.Responsibilities:The Security Training Lead core
responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:
- Develop and deliver training programs while adhering to project
timelines and scope on the Microsoft Security stack, including but
not limited to Azure Security, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft
Purview, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Microsoft Intune, Windows
Defender, and Windows Update for Business.
- Create training content, including presentations, guides,
online courses, etc. to meet the needs of various end-users and
stakeholders
- Actively comprehend learner needs and adjust to support those
needs
- Identify, measure, and evaluate learner competence and
results
- Communicate with clarity, precision, and influence
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make
recommendations for improvements based on feedback and
analysis
- Analyze market trends and performance to provide competitive
edge
- Engage and collaborate with Product Management, Marketing,
Sales and Account Management to ensure overall program success
- Identify program growth opportunities and execute on program
strategy
- Develop and maintain intimate knowledge of consumer base
- Managing the program lifecycle from strategic planning to
tactical initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment
with business objectives and to support the adoption of effective
solutions
- Manage time to effectively deliver one, clear message
- Manage solutions, records, documentation, etc. in accordance
with internal and client requirements
- Use creativity to manage ad hoc situations without
hesitation
- Track all solutions time
- Learn and maintain expert knowledge of core and supplemental
applications
- Stay current with latest trends and best practices in Microsoft
Security and training methodologies
- Attend and participate internal and client meetings, as
assigned and/or necessary
- Provide program reporting and strategic recommendations to
manager
- Additional duties as assigned.QualificationsThe ideal candidate
has the following---
- Five years or more of security training with a focus on
Microsoft Security.
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Security stack, including
Azure Security, Microsoft 365 Security, and Windows Defender, such
as---
- Five years or more implementing and managing Microsoft 365
Compliance including:
- Microsoft Purview
- Retention Policies
- eDiscovery
- Compliance Score and Compliance assessments
- Insider Risk Management
- Five years or more implementing and managing M365 Security,
including:
- Microsoft Information Protection
- Data Loss Prevention
- Secure Score and Assessments
- Microsoft Defender products, including: Defender for M365,
Defender for Cloud Apps, Identity Protection
- Five years or more managing identities in Azure Active
Directory, including:
- Managing identities, roles and groups
- MFA
- Microsoft Identity Protection
- Privileged Identity Management
- Conditional Access
- Five years or more managing and implementing Microsoft Endpoint
Manager/Intune, including:
- Implementing and managing MDM
- Implementing and managing MAM (BYOD)
- Implementing compliance and configuration policies
- Application deployment
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training
methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft Security (e.g., Microsoft
Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Microsoft 365
Certified: Security Administrator Associate) are a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid passport
- Valid driver's license (or government issued ID)
- Adaption to irregular hours and schedule changes with little
notice
- Travel for extended periods of time
- Advanced organizational skills with ability to handle multiple
projects to meet target dates for implementation
- Strict attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skillsThe preferred candidate may have the

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
or related field.
- Microsoft Security certifications, such as---
- MS-500 - Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator
Associate
- AZ-500 - Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Industry standard certification, such as---
- ISC2 SSCP
- CCSP
- CISSP
- Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Security stack, including
Azure Security, Microsoft 365 Security (Defender and Purview), and
Windows Defender
