Virginia). Job SummaryResponsible for all aspects of development
and support for Amazon Web Services in Comcast Cyber Security with
a focus on API development, enhancement, and maintenance. Core AWS
environment includes Glue, Python, Redshift, SQL, and S3. Existing
API have been developed in Ruby. Significant integration with
outside systems and experience building and maintaining APIs.
Experienced working as part of an agile development team. Job
Description Core ResponsibilitiesProven practical experience in AWS
cloud usage for large enterprise applicationsHands on experience
developing APIs deployed in an AWS environment using RubyIs a
creative problem solver with practical experience in microservices
architecturesMust have experience with deploying at scale various
containerized web and data applications and services using
technologies such as Docker, Lambda, batch services, ECS,
ECRContinuously monitor support queue to address all incoming user
issuesCorrect system issues through configuration and
scriptingIdentifying system issues as needed and mitigating or
escalating as requiredMonitor system alerts to better detect and
respond to outages/incidentsEngage vendor for support as
requiredAccess provisioning for tools support within
departmentHelps to set standards and audits those
standardsConsistent exercise of independent judgmentSupports remote
and onsite usersOther duties and responsibilities as assigned
