Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)Location Horsham, PA // Duration 1 year // Rate $55/hr, W2 This is a CTH opportunityKEY SkillsAutomation Testing using Selenium and JavaAPI TestingCucumberMavenJenkinsResponsibilitiesThe Engineer is responsible for* Designing and developing robust test automation frameworks that allow for rapid test script creation while being maintainable* Working with engineering teams to ensure these solutions best support ongoing application development and delivery efforts* Enabling engineering teams to utilize the solutions and adopt a 'test engineering culture' Qualifications, Key Skills And Competencies* 6-8 years QA experience with Web based, client server and customer facing applications* Expert level understanding of Software Quality Assurance (SQA) concepts and practices to continually provide tools for the software delivery teams* Expertise in testing web-based applications.* Expertise in test automation frameworks and programming.* Experience using test automation frameworks i.e. TestNG, Cucumber and Selenium Webdriver. - Must Have* Have built a test automation framework utilizing Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, or other open source tools* Experience working on API / Webservices testing. * Experience working on Cucumber framework * Demonstrable expertise in either Java or C#.* Experience with Git, Maven, Rally, Jenkins, SQL* Experience with implementing test automation within a continuous integration environment.* Experience designing, implementing or enhancing test harness/framework is desired.* Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a closely related field
