Job Description Job Description Title: HVAC Estimator Compensation: Up to $80,000 (based on experience) Location: Farmingdale, NY We’re seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HVAC Estimator to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial and residential HVAC projects . What You’ll Do Prepare detailed HVAC cost estimates for commercial and residential projects Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents Perform quantity take-offs for HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, controls, and materials Solicit, review, and analyze vendor and subcontractor pricing Evaluate labor, material, equipment, and overhead costs to ensure accurate proposals Develop and submit competitive bids within required deadlines Assist with value engineering and cost-saving recommendations Support project managers during project handoff and execution Maintain organized estimating files and historical cost data Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client discussions as needed Requirements 3 years of experience as an HVAC Estimator or in a similar estimating role Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation methods Experience estimating commercial HVAC projects (residential experience a plus) Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Valid driver’s license and ability to attend local site visits on Long Island What We Offer Competitive salary up to $80K Full-time, stable position Opportunity to work on a variety of commercial and residential projects Collaborative team environment with long-term growth potential Company Description The Bachrach Group (TBG) is a New York-based staffing and recruiting agency founded in 1974 by Richard Bachrach.
