Job Description:
At Interstate Waste Services, we are dedicated to sustainability
and environmental responsibility through our waste management
solutions. We are currently seeking a Human Resources Business
Partner (HRBP) who will be instrumental in fostering a workforce
that embodies our values of integrity, service, and sustainability.
In this role, you will align business objectives with employees and
management in designated business units. The HRBP serves as a
consultant to management on Human Resource related issues and acts
as an employee champion and change agent. Conduct weekly meetings
with respective business units. Analyze trends and metrics in
partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and
policies. Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations. Provide
HR policy guidance and interpretation. Develop contract terms for
new hires, promotions, and transfers. Provide guidance and input on
business unit restructures, workforce planning, succession
planning. Identify training needs for business units and individual
executive coaching needs. Participate in evaluation and monitoring
of training programs to ensure success. Strong understanding of
employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization
development, employee relations, and training. Excellent active
listening, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to develop
strong trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results.
Effectively envision, develop, and implement new strategies to
address competitive, complex business issues. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Professional
in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources
(SPHR) certification preferred. SHRM Certified Professional
(SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)
credential is advantageous.
