Our client, an extremely involved local non-profit organization, is seeking a direct hire Human Resources Specialist to join their HR Team. This position will focus specifically on assisting with payroll and benefits functions. An eye for details is a must!About You:2+ years of human resources payroll and benefits experienceA Bachelor's Degree is required for this roleStrong organization skills with an emphasis on attention to detailAbility to professionally handle confidential informationAbility to learn new system and processes quicklyThe Job:Work with the HR Director assist with the administration of all benefits and retirement programs, payroll profiles and payroll changesRun and organize weekly informational reports on employees' paid and unpaid leave information and assist in processing FMLA, STD, etc.Help to lead new hire orientation, particularly in the area of benefits education and payroll proceduresReview and respond to unemployment claim with appropriate documentationCoordinate workers' compensation claims with third-party administrator and follow up on claims when neededThis direct hire position will sit onsite at the organization's Philadelphia headquarters five days a week and is paying up to $53,000 annually depending on experience.
