Generalist opportunity, Robert Half has the opportunity for you as
a Human Resources Generalist. This role will involve various HR
duties, including recruiting, conducting new hire orientation,
updating the employee handbook, and managing employee relations.
Your responsibilities - Compare federal, state, and local laws to
current internal policies and procedures - Create employee
engagement plans, including budget approvals and management
oversite - Collaborate with upper management, employees, and
third-party vendors - Maintain physical and digital files for
employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance
records, and annual reviews - Evaluate employee performance,
including assisting with annual reviews, appraising pay scales, and
coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if
necessary) - Support a recruitment plan according to operational
and business projections - Work with other members of the HR
department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for new
company employees - Accountable for completing various tasks and
the daily operations of the HR department - Develop official
internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters,
salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of
absences, and warning/termination letters - Employee relations,
involving engaging employees and coordinating sensitive
conversations - Create onboarding plans and educate newly hired
employees on internal procedures, HR policies, and regulations -
Develop templates for HR documents, including the Employee
Handbook
