Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer
(CHRO), the HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as the Human
Resources primary point of contact and acts as a key partner and
advisor to the leaders across Chester Community Charter School. The
HRBP provides service support covering all major HR functional
areas. The HRBP provides strategic alignment of human resources
processes with designated school objectives. Under the direction of
the CHRO, this position also works closely with campus and
administrative leaders to proactively asses HR-related business
needs and implement actions that effectively develop and leverage
school talent. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: The HR Business
Partner works with leaders to provide employee coaching and
proactive communication regarding critical and routine HR issues.
Stays abreast of federal, state and school policies and procedures
to ensure compliance. Analyzes compliance requirements, trends, and
key metrics in partnership with broader HR organization to develop
and implement solutions, programs and policies. Plays a key role in
developing and supporting Total Rewards programs and policies.
Continuously reviews HR programs offerings to ensure employee
programs are fully utilized and monitor external trends and
developments to provide proactive guidance. Collaborates with the
hiring managers and the Recruitment team to assist with planning,
organizing and assists in the recruitment tasks and projects
resulting in attracting, engaging, developing and retaining diverse
talent. The HRBP plays a key role in supporting assigned
departments with respect to workforce planning, talent evaluation,
and succession planning. The HRBP consistently demonstrates
sufficient HR and business knowledge and consults with other HR
contacts as required on behalf school leaders to provide timely
feedback and solutions. Analyzes various HR reports and prepares
recommendations (i.e. turnover, exit survey results). Manages
cultural change and drive a performance-oriented culture by
providing performance management guidance to managers to include
coaching, counseling and career development within the
organization. Coordinates and assists in various annual activities
and ad-hoc projects. Escalates critical issues to CHRO, appropriate
HR staff and/or CCCS leadership. Identifies trends and areas of
opportunity based on employee/manager engagement. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required 7 or more years of Human resources
experience and solid knowledge of broad cross-section of HR
disciplines including employee relations, performance management,
talent management, compensation, talent acquisition, employee
engagement and change management. Exceptional analytical, problem
solving skills, collaboration and matrix management skills
Demonstrated proficiency in communication ( written and verbal)
Strong business acumen, ethical decision making and relationship
management skills The ability to understand, interpret and apply HR
policies.
