We foster an inclusive, collaborative workplace, in which our global teams are united by an unwavering commitment to provide Better Health and a Brighter Future to people around the world.Here, you will be an important contributor to our inspiring, bold mission.GOALS:Patient Recruitment and Retention's (PR&R) mission is to support the study teams in planning for and achieving enrollment by developing creative patient recruitment and site engagement strategies that use strategic partnerships, healthcare data, and technologies. We do this by working with Takeda teams to identify where opportunities and challenges are for recruiting and retaining patients into each study. Once identified, we work with specialized patient recruitment vendors to support targeted strategies and manage campaign performance throughout enrollment.ACCOUNTABILITIES:Conduct early operational planning and research to evaluate competitive landscape, enrollment modeling, disease prevalence, site identification, and more.Research diseases new to Takeda (or update research on existing diseases) and compile disease briefings for the team.Identify new potential vendors that offer creative solutions, maintain active CDAs, coordinate introductory calls between the vendor and PR&R team, and initiate vendor qualification process.Help manage relationships with existing vendors and ensure vendors are up-to-date on Takeda SOPs and trainings.Work with internal groups including External Partners, Procurement, Legal, QA&C, Patient Advocacy, and more.Support trial-specific patient recruitment and retention efforts, working with a Patient Recruitment & Retention Lead to oversee the strategy development.Proof and edit materials during development and provide feedback on design elements and written content.Help develop content such as presentations, articles, and newsletters.Maintain team's databases and run queries for teams.Keep team process documents up-to-date and maintain team handbook.Support team plans and special projects.Help with miscellaneous administrative tasks related to the function.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree.2 or more years of experience in patient engagement and recruitment discipline within a pharmaceutical company, CRO, patient recruitment vendor or similar organization, or experience in health promotions or marketing.Experience in rare disease / difficult to recruit populations.Knowledge of current regulatory requirements and guidelines governing clinical research.Able to improve timelines, cost and quality.Communicate recommendations after careful consideration of courses of action, decision support data, and experience in trial optimization.WHAT TAKEDA CAN OFFER YOU:401(k) with company match and Annual Retirement Contribution Plan.Tuition reimbursement Company match of charitable contributions.Health & Wellness programs including onsite flu shots and health screenings.Generous time off for vacation and the option to purchase additional vacation days.Community Outreach Programs.Location and Salary Information:Location(s): Cambridge/Lexington or Remote.Base Salary Range: $90K-$110K based on candidate professional experience level.This posting is made in compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, C.R.S. -- - 8-5-101 et seq.Empowering Our People to ShineDiscover more at No Phone Calls or Recruiters Please.EEO StatementTakeda is proud in its commitment to creating a diverse workforce and providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, parental status, national origin, age, disability, citizenship status, genetic information or characteristics, marital status, status as a Vietnam era veteran, special disabled veteran, or other protected veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws, and any other characteristic protected by law.LocationsBoston, MAWorker TypeEmployeeWorker Sub-TypeRegularTime TypeFull time
