Join Performance Foodservice, a leader in food distribution, as a CDL-A Delivery Driver. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of food products to a diverse range of customers, from local family-owned eateries to prominent nationwide chains. As part of our dedicated team, you will be driving a truck over established routes while adhering to all safety regulations to ensure that all deliveries are conducted efficiently and on time. Ensure safe and timely delivery of products to customers Load and unload cargo accurately according to company procedures Regularly inspect truck before and after trips, adhering to all safety guidelines Maintain communication with dispatch to report any issues or delays Comply with all DOT regulations and keep up-to-date with new laws and regulations Manage documentation associated with delivered goods Provide excellent customer service during delivery Attend and participate in safety meetings Proficiency in operating GPS devices and other navigation tools Strong on-road driving safety awareness Ability to handle physical workload Effective communication skills Basic troubleshooting skills for minor truck maintenance Medical Insurance Dental Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) DOT Medical Certification (DOT Medical Card)
