Job Description:
Great Wolf Lodge, a leader in family-friendly indoor water park
resorts, is seeking an experienced Director of Aquatics to oversee
the safe and efficient operation of our resorts aquatic
attractions. The Director, Aquatics will be responsible for
maintaining the highest standards in guest safety, water quality,
and team management. This position calls for a seasoned leader who
exemplifies dedication to guest satisfaction and employee
development within a high-energy environment. Oversee daily aquatic
facility operations ensuring compliance with local, state, and
federal health and safety regulations. Manage, train, and evaluate
aquatics staff, ensuring staff are well-prepared to deliver
excellent service and maintain safety standards. Develop and
implement staff training and safety programs, conducting regular
safety drills and ensuring staff certification is current. Monitor
water quality and facility maintenance, coordinating with
maintenance and environmental services teams to ensure all areas
meet or exceed health and safety standards. Prepare and manage the
aquatics department budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and
cost control. Respond to guest inquiries and complaints swiftly and
professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction. Collaborate with other
resort departments to promote and support hotel programs and
activities. Strong leadership and people management skills
Expertise in aquatic facility management and maintenance Knowledge
of water quality management, including chemical use and balancing
Proficient in safety regulations and emergency response Ability to
design and implement training and safety programs for aquatic staff
Excellent communication and organizational skills Medical Insurance

Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO)
certification required. Lifeguard Instructor Certification
preferred. First Aid and CPR/AED certification.
