talented Sous Chef to join the culinary team here at our
award-winning senior living resort on Bend's beautiful west side
along the Deschutes River!Starting salary of $31.00 per hour (or
more, depending on experience) with full medical benefits, paid

late nights!As a Sous Chef, you will have the opportunity to be a
part of a creative team eager to provide excellent and exciting
meals for our residents and their guests each day! With a welcoming
team, an appreciative audience and the creative freedom to put your
culinary skills to the test, you'll wake up each day excited to
come to work and serve with heart and compassion. Best of all is
that there are no late nights and you're home before 9:00pm on a
closing shift!You will have responsibilities such as educating
servers and residents about the secrets of each meal. You will help
the Executive Chef in providing great food to our residents,
developing personal relationships; and ensuring that each member of
the team understands all aspects of cooking, food preparation, and
presentation. Above all else, your passion for excellent food and
outstanding hospitality will be the “extra” that makes our
community stand out above the rest!2 years of experience in a
kitchen leadership role is necessary, and ideal candidates must
have a heart for serving others, as well as: • A commitment to

encourage others to be allies, friends, and givers • A high school
diploma or equivalent • A genuine interest in caring for elderly
residents and working in a geriatric environment • The willingness
to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment
to confidentiality • The ability to maintain patient and tactful
composure when dealing with residents, family members, team members
and guests • Be able to read, write, and speak English • Must be 18
years old older • Must be able to pass a drug and background test •
