Rob Bryant - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Contact No: (215)698-9100 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Email: eCommerce@uri.com -Location: Philadelphia, PAJob Title: eCommerce Merchandiser and Conversion Optimization -Job Description: -The eCommerce Conversion Optimization Specialist plays a key role in supporting URI's online merchandising goals by managing the presentation of the online catalog. -The primary focus of this role is to enhance the user experience, improve onsite conversions, and drive sales through effective product positioning, which includes considerations of graphics, descriptions, promotions, on-site search, product placement, and more. The eCommerce Conversion Optimization Specialist should demonstrate experience using innovative merchandising techniques and providing engaging product information in an easily digestible format and presentation. - -As a contributing member to the URI eCommerce team, you will work with a cross-functional team that includes Marketing managers, Web Developers, customer service and Product specialist team members to show sustainable conversion growth. This will require you to have knowledge in the following technical areas to drive and increase customer demand: A-B testing, multi-variate testing, as well as know how to drive promotions through various marketing campaigns and techniques. -Key Responsibilities: -

  • Manage the presentation of the online assortment, including product information, category information, and website merchandising.
  • Test and implement approved merchandising promotions.
  • Monitor and review promotions for improvement.
  • Review onsite search behavior to gain an understanding of keyword queries and manipulate the products within the search pages to drive conversion.
  • Propose and monitor AB tests.
  • Understand the Bloomreach software platform and the merchandising capabilities. Maintain strong knowledge and ability to navigate the content management system within Enable Product Management software
  • Ability to troubleshoot before escalating to development for assistance
  • Analyze sales and web metrics to make recommendations to clients about products and categories, web marketing, and promotions.
  • Request and create reports to support a better understanding of online sales.
  • Manage increased exposure or suppression of products.
  • Review, modify and add search criteria data utilizing Bloomreach search reporting
  • Review the ranking of product facets and make changes based on customer utilization
  • Assist in establishing the campaign calendar and influencing product priorities to support sales and marketing plans
  • Work with analytics and marketing teams to define customer segments and design in-cart and post-purchase engagement strategies that drive cross-and up-sell revenue
  • Maintain a suite of daily and monthly online merchandising tasks including optimization of sorting rules, filters, product placement, search management, etc.
  • Define regional customer segments and work with Business Unit Managers to identify and maintain regional specific products for product merchandising placement
  • Report key findings of performance of units per category
  • Review and analyze Hotjar recordings and data to make a determination on customer site utilization and recommend functions change improvements
  • Develop promotional-specific landing pages with all promotional literature and marketing materials. -Minimum Requirements: -
    • Candidates should have 3+ years of experience working with eCommerce site merchandising and/or building content for a B2B eCommerce business
    • Candidates should be extremely detail-oriented, capable of handling multiple projects at once, adept in navigating ambiguity, and comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities.
    • Candidates should have experience managing large amounts of detailed product data, content, pricing, image assets, etc.
    • Candidates should have experience creating customer-facing content (written, visual, etc.) that is on-brand, relevant and tailored to our site visitors.
    • Candidates should be proficient with working with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • Candidates should have experience working with and using web analytic tools, including Google Analytics.
