Under limited supervision, plans, directs, and evaluates total
patient care as part of an EMS team and functions in the transport
environment on a particular shift, in accordance with established
corporate philosophy. Orients and trains transport personnel.
Relates effectively with others for continuity of care; maintains
positive relations with coworkers, referring and receiving
organizations; participates in all phases of education, maintenance
of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills of
personnel. Drives and operates specially equipped emergency
vehicles to specified locations at a safe and controlled speed, in
accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations and
Minimum qualifications required for consideration\:
- Emergency Medicine Technician (EMT certification) certification
- 1 year experience driving a Type III Ambulance and working as
an EMT (Required)
- Having, or getting, EMSVO Credentialing (Required)
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Valid Driver's License in good standing - 3 points or less.
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
EMSVO - EMS Vehicle Operator (Required)
Child Abuse & FBI Clearances (Required)
Scheduled hours - varied.
