OverviewRegistered Nurse for Phoenixville Hospital's Emergency Department/Senior EDShift: Full-time, 7a-7p, 11a-11p, 3p-3a rotation as needed as well as every/other weekend requirementResponsibilitiesResponsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Responsible for directing, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. This person must be self driven. They will be managing a patient load in a unit where the ED physician does not sit on a regular basis. They will need to keep in communication with the ED physician via phone and update them on any changes in the patients condition as well as completed labs & studies. Reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.QualificationsEducation: -Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Licenses/Certifications:- Current state Registered Nurse license- Current BLS Certification -- Current ACLS Certification-Crtical care course preferred Experience/Skills:-Minimum 1-3 years experience as an Emergency Department RN, preferred-Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred, Critical Care experience-perferred
