Job Description:
Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist
in Newark, NJ. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses,
or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while working in an
outpatient setting. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or
Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Active New Jersey Occupational Therapy license required to start
the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
Experience treating pre- and post-operative patients and traumatic
injuries, including crush injuries, is required. Experience in
high-volume outpatient settings, managing schedules of more than 14
visits per day and up to three patients per hour, is required.
Experience treating work-related injuries and workers’ compensation
cases is required. Ability to communicate with Spanish- or
Portuguese-speaking patients is preferred. Assignment Details
Facility type: Outpatient clinic. Patient population: Adults with
pre- and post-op needs, traumatic and work-related injuries,
including crush injuries. Clinical pace: High-volume caseload,
typically greater than 14 visits per day; scheduling up to three
patients per hour. Location Highlights Newark offers urban
