ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/20/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work 12-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM • May float to GI unit or Center One Surgery Center • 6-week schedule requirements include working 2 weekend nights (8 or 12 hours depending on staffing) • Holiday call required: 1 summer and 1 winter (8 or 12 hours depending on staffing) • Must work 1 summer and 1 winter holiday (8 or 12 hours depending on staffing) • On-call 2 weekends required per contract • Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends • 40 hours of orientation required • 3 years of experience required with Level I Trauma, Liver and Kidney experience • BSN degree required • Previous charge experience required • Travel experience required - no first-time travelers • PA or compact license required at time of submission • Required certifications: BLS, NBSTSA or NCCT • Charting system: Cerner • Skills include general OR, trauma, scrub cardiovascular surgery, neurology surgery, transplant surgery, vascular surgery, and circulating • Serve adult patient population with daily census of 30 patients • Work in 14-room, 14-bed unit handling all surgical procedures • Must complete PA fingerprints and labs within 48 hours of signing Facility: This major medical center operates as a comprehensive healthcare facility specializing in advanced surgical services including Level I trauma care, transplant surgery, and complex cardiovascular procedures.
