Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Preoperative - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Pre Op Job Details: • Assess, implement, and evaluate care needed by assigned patients under the direction of licensed physicians • Apply principles, theories, current methods and techniques of nursing practice • Use the nursing process to collaborate with patients, family members/significant others, professional peers and other healthcare team members • Individualize patient care for each assigned patient • Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to standards of nursing practice • Follow administrative and departmental policies and procedures • Adhere to the ANA Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses • 2 years experience in area of clinical specialty preferred • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required • Bachelor's Degree required • PA Registered Nurse License required • Basic Life Support certification required • Multi State Compact RN License required • Professional education, training or additional certifications may be required by specialty area Facility: This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center that provides specialized pre-operative services as part of their surgical care continuum.
