Job Description:
Pine Acres Rehabilitation and Living Center is seeking a
dedicated and experienced Unit Manager to lead our rehabilitation
and long-term care unit. As a pivotal member of our management
team, the Unit Manager will oversee clinical operations, ensuring
the delivery of high-quality care and effective rehabilitation
services in alignment with our focus on wellness and skilled
nursing care. The ideal candidate will effectively manage staff,
optimize patient care processes, and foster a collaborative,
supportive environment that upholds our commitment to excellence in
healthcare services. Oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation
and long-term care unit, ensuring compliance with healthcare
regulations and facility policies. Supervise and evaluate
healthcare staff, providing guidance, training, and performance
feedback to ensure a competent workforce. Develop and implement
care plans in collaboration with medical and support teams to meet
individual patient needs effectively. Monitor patient care for
quality and efficacy, adjusting strategies as necessary to improve
outcomes and satisfaction. Manage unit budget and resources,
ensuring efficient use of materials and personnel while maintaining
high standards of care. Facilitate communication among staff,
patients, and families to promote transparency and understanding of
healthcare processes. Implement and supervise adherence to safety
and infection control policies to protect patients and staff.
Clinical leadership, staff management, strategic planning, budget
management, strong communication, problem-solving, compliance with
healthcare regulations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state
of employment. Certification in Healthcare Management (e.g., CHM)
is preferable.
