Job Description Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time physical therapist opportunity is available in New York, NY, serving a diverse student population ages 5 to 21 within a school setting. This contract position offers a consistent schedule from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. during the 2025-2026 school year. The role is onsite, providing direct hands-on therapy services to support students' physical development and functional mobility. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized physical therapy treatment programs for students Collaborate with educational staff, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and compliance with state and federal regulations Adapt interventions to meet each student's educational and therapeutic goals Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) Desired Qualifications: Valid physical therapy license for New York State Experience working with children and young adults in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques relevant to school-age populations Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams Ability to maintain organized records and manage caseload effectively Location: New York, NY (Onsite) This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student outcomes by promoting physical wellness and functional independence in an educational environment.
