Job Description:
Tender Touch Rehab Services is seeking a dedicated and
compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. This
role involves assisting physical therapists in providing treatments
and procedures that help improve patient mobility, relieve pain,
and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients
suffering from injuries or disease. Our ideal candidate thrives in
a collaborative environment and is committed to creating customized
patient care plans in line with our commitment to personalized
therapy solutions. Assist physical therapists in the direct care of
patients undergoing physical therapy. Implement selected components
of patient treatment, obtain data related to the treatment
provided, and make modifications as needed. Document patient
responses to treatment and report outcomes to the supervising
physical therapist. Educate patients and family members about
treatment plans and maintenance exercises. Maintain treatment area,
equipment, and supply inventory. Participate in clinical
conferences to discuss new cases and progress of current cases.
Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and
applications. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for
working effectively with patients and their families. Ability to
manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer
proficiency and ability to handle electronic health records.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid
Physical Therapist Assistant state license. CPR certification is
required.
