in Newark, NJ. This position involves performing diagnostic
radiographic examinations with technical expertise and minimal
supervision. The role demands precision, patient care, and

patient comfort. Key Responsibilities: - Produce high-quality
diagnostic radiographic images by correctly positioning patients
and using appropriate immobilization devices. - Operate imaging
equipment, selecting technical factors tailored to individual
patient needs. - Restrict radiation exposure using cones and
collimating devices to protect unaffected areas. - Conduct portable
X-ray exams in various settings including patient rooms, operating
rooms, and emergency departments. - Accurately identify patient
films with proper labeling and maintain organized imaging records.
- Process and develop X-ray films using available methods. - Assist
physicians by preparing and administering radiopaque contrast
media. - Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling
appointments, instructing patients, filing films, and maintaining
records. - Provide patient support with mobility and positioning
during imaging procedures. - Comply with organizational standards
and communicate effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds
and needs. Qualifications and Desired Experience: - Certification
or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist. - Proficiency in
operating X-ray and radiology imaging equipment. - Strong knowledge
of radiation safety and patient care procedures. - Ability to stand
for extended periods and perform physical tasks involving lifting
and positioning. - Excellent communication skills tailored to
