Job Title: Interventional Radiology Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Must have a current state nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - EPIC documentation experience required - Experience with patient ratios of 1:4 Description: We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Nurse for a contract position. This is a mixed procedural unit supporting various patient populations. The position involves working with patients who may present with conditions such as cancer, GI bleeds, and liver disease. Nurses will be responsible for pre- and post-procedure care, along with medication management. Candidates are expected to have competencies in administering and monitoring procedural sedation and IV therapy. Knowledge of infection prevention and isolation precautions is essential. The role will require monitoring of vital signs and documentation of patient care using the EPIC system. Nurses will work in a collaborative environment with interdisciplinary support. Weekend shifts are not required, and there is no on-call duty associated with this position.
