Solutions to find a qualified Obstetrics and Gynecology MD in
Pennsylvania! Opportunity Details Medicus is collaborating with a
hospital in eastern Pennsylvania with an opportunity for a skilled
OB Hospitalist to provide locum coverage. Opportunity Overview: -
Schedule: 24-hour call, 7a-7a - Setting: Inpatient - Level I
Nursery - Annual Volume: ~750 deliveries - OB Duties: Triage, labor
management, vaginal births and c-sections, postpartum
sterilization, and postpartum care - GYN Duties: ED and floor
consults, acute surgical care, and possible D&E for
miscarriages - Required Procedures: Labor induction, deliveries,
laceration repairs, birth control placement, surgical management of
ectopic pregnancy, torsion, etc. - Support Staff: Nurses, CNM, PA,
technical and perioperative support, in-house anesthesia, and
in-house pediatrics - EMR: Epic - Must be board-certified - Paid
