dynamic metropolitan experience. Facility: This is a renowned
pediatric hospital with 189 beds that provides specialized care for
children with various medical conditions. The facility features
both inpatient and outpatient services, with dedicated departments
for specialized pediatric nephrology care including dialysis
services and transplant capabilities. Opportunity: Pediatric
Nephrology Job Details: • Manage and treat various renal conditions
including Bartter's Syndrome, Fabry Disease, Fanconi Syndrome,
Hemolytic-uremic Syndrome, and Hepatorenal Syndrome • Perform EEG
reads at Reading Hospital (required) • Conduct hemodialysis
procedures (required) • Perform percutaneous renal biopsy,
peritoneal dialysis (acute/chronic), and needle biopsy of the
kidney (preferred) • Support renal transplant cases (preferred) •
Commit to a minimum of one week (ideally two weeks) of availability
per month • Be available for on-call duties during evenings and
weekends (Monday 7am to following Monday 7am) • See minimum of five
outpatients each day at the clinic during on-call weeks • Provide
inpatient rounds and consults as needed • Work in outpatient clinic
operating from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday • Typically
cover 70% inpatients and 30% outpatients (may vary) • Maintain
pediatric intubation skills for newborns and pediatric patients •
Must be PALS certified • Must hold an active Pennsylvania medical
license Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and
malpractice included. Paid Travel and Lodging.
