Job Description:

Tender Touch Rehab Services is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team, providing unparalleled rehabilitative care to our patients across various healthcare facilities. As a key component of our interdisciplinary team, you will work under the direction of licensed Physical Therapists, helping patients regain mobility and manage physical pain through planned therapy activities. This role requires a compassionate approach and a commitment to tailored therapeutic outcomes, helping each patient move towards optimal physical function. Assist Physical Therapists in the execution of patient care plans, including exercises and use of mobility aids. Document patient responses to therapy and communicate their progress to the supervising therapist. Educate patients and family members about post-session care and effective techniques to aid recovery. Maintain equipment and treatment areas to ensure a clean and safe environment for rehabilitation. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient's mobility and reduce pain under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan and modify treatment as needed. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers. Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and interventions applicable in physical therapy settings. Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain clear and accurate documentation of treatment sessions. Capability to handle physical demands of the job, including moving equipment and assisting patients. 401k Valid state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (or must be obtained before employment). CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
