Tender Touch Rehab Services, a leader in providing individualized rehabilitation therapy services, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team. This position offers the successful candidate an opportunity to contribute to a healing environment in a variety of healthcare settings. Working under the supervision of our seasoned physical therapists, you will help patients recover and improve their mobility, ensuring each treatment is tailored to meet patient-specific needs as per our commitment to personalized care. Assist physical therapists in providing direct patient care in activities designed to help patients manage pain and improve physical functioning. Follow care plans laid out by physical therapists tailored to individual patient needs. Record patient's responses and progress, and report the outcome to the physical therapist. Educate patients and family members about treatment plans and maintenance exercises. Maintain equipment and ensure that treatment spaces are clean and organized. Help with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and processing billing. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with physical therapists and interact with patients. Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain comprehensive patient documentation. Capability to perform physically demanding tasks such as moving patients and standing for extended periods. Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt treatments as patient needs evolve.
