Job Description:

Tender Touch Rehab Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. This role involves working under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to implement therapy plans, helping patients regain or improve their mobility, and achieve their rehabilitation goals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of physical therapy modalities and exhibit a passion for patient care, aligning with our mission to provide tailored therapy services that meet each individuals needs. Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating the patient’s condition and developing an appropriate physical rehabilitation plan. Help patients perform specific exercises as part of the plan of care. Educate patients and families about what to anticipate in the recovery process and how to cope with challenges throughout the treatment process. Implement various treatments and modalities as prescribed by the physical therapist, including electrical stimulation, massage, and ultrasound. Record patient’s progress and report the outcomes to the supervising physical therapist. Maintain equipment and space in a condition that ensures safety and cleanliness. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to instruct patients and manage time effectively Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and principles Good physical stamina and mobility Understanding of compliance and record-keeping for healthcare facilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license as required by state law.
